Makesour Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Cre8 – Photo Editor & Design application (the "Service"). This page explains what information the Service collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Cre8, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Your Photos and Content
Cre8 is a photo editor. The images and designs you create are processed on your device. We access photos only when you choose to import them, and we do not upload, store, or share the contents of your photo library on our servers as part of normal editing. Saving and sharing happens through your device and the services you explicitly choose.
2. Information We Collect
To operate and improve the Service, we and our third-party providers may collect:
- Usage and analytics data — anonymized or pseudonymized information about how features are used, such as which tools are opened, session length, and app events.
- Device and diagnostic data — technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and crash or error information.
- Approximate, non-identifying identifiers — such as randomly generated installation or device identifiers used for analytics.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contact details unless you choose to contact us directly for support.
3. Third-Party Services
Cre8 uses the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Cloud Messaging, and Cloud Firestore) — used for usage analytics, push notifications, and storing app configuration and content. See the Firebase Privacy & Security information and Google Privacy Policy.
- Amplitude — used for product analytics to understand how features are used. See the Amplitude Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — distribution and in-app purchases are handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to understand which features are valuable; to diagnose crashes and technical problems; to deliver push notifications you have enabled; and to comply with legal obligations.
5. Push Notifications
With your permission, Cre8 may send push notifications, for example to share tips or updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings under Notifications.
6. Log and Crash Data
When the Service encounters an error, diagnostic ("log") data may be collected. This can include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of the error, and other statistics. This data is used to diagnose and fix problems.
7. Data Retention
We retain analytics and diagnostic information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our providers' retention practices.
8. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information and use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it immediately. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Links to Other Sites
The Service may contain links to other sites that we do not operate. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
